2023 begins with impor­tant strate­gic changes

HESCH Indus­trie-Elek­tronik GmbH now oper­ates under the name AXXERON HESCH elec­tron­ics. Thus, the inte­gra­tion into the man­age­ment hold­ing AXXERON Tech­nolo­gies, which was com­pleted in Octo­ber 2020, is also vis­i­ble in the com­pany name: It stands for cohe­sion and growth. As of Jan­u­ary 1, 2023, AXXERON HESCH elec­tron­ics also acquired the busi­ness and man­u­fac­tur­ing site of Scho­risch Elek­tronik GmbH from Wen­torf near Ham­burg.

The takeover not only expands pro­duc­tion, but also the prod­uct port­fo­lio. In this way, HESCH also com­ple­ments its know-how in the appli­ca­tion of inno­v­a­tive man­u­fac­tur­ing solu­tions for elec­tronic assem­blies. These include encap­su­la­tion, which can be used to pro­tect elec­tronic assem­blies so that they can be used in ATEX areas with­out any prob­lems. AXXERON HESCH will also ben­e­fit from more than 30 years of expe­ri­ence in the pro­duc­tion of explo­sion-proof assem­blies and equip­ment as a result of the acqui­si­tion.

 

The inte­gra­tion of the elec­tron­ics spe­cial­ist also has other advan­tages for AXXERON HESCH elec­tron­ics: On the one hand, the com­pany is expand­ing its cus­tomer base through the addi­tional man­u­fac­tur­ing processes. On the other hand, AXXERON HESCH is present with its sec­ond loca­tion in the Ham­burg met­ro­pol­i­tan region and is thus redun­dantly posi­tioned. With the incor­po­ra­tion, AXXERON HESCH elec­tron­ics grows by 1800 square meters of pro­duc­tion and stor­age space, as well as another 300 square meters of office space.

The asset deal is part of a long-term growth strat­egy. The SMD pro­duc­tion line at the head­quar­ters in Neustadt near Hanover had already been expanded in 2021. There are also plans to mod­ern­ize the branch in Wen­torf near Ham­burg.
