What are automa­tion com­po­nents?

Automa­tion tech­nol­ogy, also known as automa­tion com­po­nents, is used in machines, sys­tems and processes to enable them to func­tion and con­trol them­selves with­out human inter­ven­tion. Sen­sors, actu­a­tors and the cor­re­spond­ing con­trol sys­tems mon­i­tor the auto­mated processes.
