What is an OEM supplier?
The term has different meanings depending on the industry. OEM stands for the English term “Original Equipment Manufacturer“. Translated into German, this means “Original-Ausrüstungs-Hersteller” or more commonly “Erstausrüster”. OEM suppliers or OEM partners are manufacturers of electronic devices that are not marketed under their own brand. As an OEM partner, HESCH develops and produces electronic devices on behalf of its customers, which are either designed as important components of a system or plant or are used as stand-alone devices.

EMC testing in accordance with EMC Directive 2014/30EU is already carried out by HESCH in its own laboratory during development. This enables us to correct possible faults at an early stage and saves time during final acceptance in the accredited laboratory.
Suppliers without this possibility of EMC measurements accompanying the development run the risk of being responsible for a market launch delay in the end.
