Power Mod­ule – HE 5850

The Power Mod­ule HE 5850 pro­vides a sup­ple­men­tary power sup­ply for addi­tional HIMOD mod­ules. With the HIMOD Power Mod­ule it is pos­si­ble to con­nect up to 62 mod­ules per Field­bus Cou­pler, whereby each Power Mod­ule can sup­ply up to 16 mod­ules on a sep­a­rate rail.

Com­mu­ni­ca­tion with the field­bus cou­pler is main­tained by a ser­ial bus exten­sion. The use of the Power Mod­ules enables sys­tem expan­sion with dis­tri­b­u­tion to dif­fer­ent instal­la­tion lev­els and the cre­ation of sep­a­rate poten­tials within a sys­tem.
